Temporary closure of Drayton Lane, Oving CP,

6th July 2025.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that from the date specified below, West Sussex

County Council has temporarily closed to all traffic, Drayton Lane, Oving CP, in the Chichester

District under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, on Drayton

Lane for a distance approx 682 metres.

The temporary closure is scheduled to commence on 6th July 2025 for up to 5 days (it is

estimated to be completed on 6th July 2025) and is required for the safety of the public and

workforce while BT undertakes a daytime road closure between the junctions with Oving Road

and Tangmere Road for pole replacement and testing works.

The restriction will be in place off-peak only from 09:30 until 15:30
