Lovely use of colour to draw the eye around the garden. Island beds with specimen shrubs particularly effective as lawn centre pieces. Hydrangea is amazing with loads of bloom. Black edging is very effective at defining the space, creating a strong focal point and sets off the lavender hedging. Repetitive planting of oxalis and geranium good linking plants between roses.

Beautiful cottage garden with lovely roses and lavender for pollinators. Goof use of lavender as a linking plant throughout the garden attracting many butterflies. Good drought tolerance. Has a tremendous sense of place and peacefulness despite proximity to the road.

Great use of plating to soften and enhance the space with hanging baskets making the colour feel more 3 dimensional. Good use of trailing begonias in centre basket. Lovely hot colours in window boxes, effective against white of the house. Great variety of containers with reused pots, and plants hanging along the fence adding extra colour.
